Deirdre Flaherty have been named the
Ohio's 529 Plan CollegeAdvantage Student-Athletes of the Week. These awards are for contests held March 30-April 5.
MacDougall recorded a .400/.714/1.000 slash line in Dayton's 2-1 weekend against Fordham. The junior went 4-for-10 with a double, a triple and a home run. He also scored three runs and tallied two RBIs. At catcher, MacDougall had 23 putouts and five assists.
Flaherty led the Flyers' offense, slashing .538/.600/.923 over four games this week. She posted back-to-back multi-hit games after going 2-for-4 in Saturday's nightcap at Rhode Island and followed that with a 3-for-3 day at the plate with four RBI and two runs scored, including knocking out her third home run of the season in the first inning. For the week she had seven hits - three for extra bases - 35 putouts and one assist to zero errors. With a hit in all four games this week, Flaherty extended her hit streak to a team-best eight games. She was also honored at the A-10 Player of the Week on Tuesday.
