DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's rowing program is set to compete Sunday, May 3 at Eastern Michigan.Â
The Flyers will travel to Ypsilanti, Mich. to race on Ford Lake in their final tune-up before the Atlantic 10 Championships.Â
Dayton enters the weekend following a competitive showing at the SIRA Championships in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Racing on Melton Hill Lake, the Flyers faced a strong field and continued to show improvement as the spring season progresses. The Varsity 8+ and 2 Varsity 8+ crews both recorded solid finishes in their respective finals, while the novice squad gained valuable experience in a highly competitive environment.
As the Flyers head into the final stretch of the spring season, the regatta at Eastern Michigan provides another opportunity to continue lowering times and building momentum ahead of the Atlantic 10 Championships.
