DAYTON – Coming off winning its Atlantic 10-leading 11
th championship a season ago, the University of Dayton women's soccer team and head coach
Eric Golz have announced the schedule for the upcoming 2026 campaign. The 18-match regular season starts at West Virginia on Aug. 13 and will see 11 total matches played in the friendly confines of Baujan Field.
"Our 2026 schedule will challenge us in all the right ways and provide opportunities to grow, compete, and prepare for the Atlantic 10 season," said Golz. "We have a talented group that is eager to get back on the field, and we know our fans will be excited about the caliber of opponents coming to Baujan Field. We can't wait to get started and continue building on the standard of excellence that defines our program."
UD kicks off 2026 with a pair of exhibition matches, hosting Eastern Kentucky on Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. before traveling to Indiana on Aug. 8 at 1 p.m.
After opening the season at WVU (Aug. 13, 7 p.m.), the Flyers return to Dayton to begin a four-match homestand starting with Toledo (Aug. 16, 1 p.m.). UD then welcomes Kentucky (Aug. 20, 7 p.m.), Louisville (Aug. 27, 7 p.m.) and nearby Wright State (Sept. 3, 7 p.m.).
Dayton hits the road for a pair of non-conference matches, traveling to the Steel City to take on Pitt (Sept. 6, 1 p.m.) and to Cincinnati to face off with Xavier (Sept. 10, 6:30 p.m.). The non-conference slate wraps with a home match against Ball State (Sept. 13, 6 p.m.)
Atlantic 10 play begins on the road at St. Bonaventure (Sept. 19, 6 p.m.) before returning to Baujan Field for a match against Saint Louis (Sept. 24, 7 p.m.). The Flyers wrap up the month of September when they head to the Windy City to take on Loyola Chicago (Sept. 27, 2 p.m.).
UD opens October at home when the Flyers take on La Salle (Oct. 2, 7 p.m.). After a short road trip to Duquesne (Oct. 8, 7 p.m.), UD returns home to take on George Washington (Oct. 11, 1 p.m.) Dayton then hits the road to take on Davidson (Oct. 17, 7 p.m.) before returning to Baujan Field to play Fordham (Oct. 22, 7 p.m.). The Flyers' final road trip of the regular season will be to Philadelphia to take on Saint Joseph's (Oct. 25, 1 p.m.), and the regular season will wrap with a Saturday night showdown against VCU (Oct. 31, 7 p.m.).
The top four seeds based on conference records will host the Atlantic 10 quarterfinal match-ups on either Nov. 6 or 7, with the highest remaining seed following those matches set to host the semifinals on Nov. 11 and the championship match on Nov. 15.
