DAYTON - The Dayton men's soccer team won its third-straight contest Monday night with a 2-1 victory over visiting Purdue Fort Wayne. The Flyers out-shot the Mastodons by a 20-5 margin.
Dayton improves to 3-1-0 on the season while Purdue Fort Wayne is now 0-2-0.

"Our group showed great resilience tonight, grinding out a win under tough conditions with extreme heat and a short turnaround from our previous game," commented head coach
Dennis Currier following the win. "We were a bit sluggish the first half but the guys responded well to our halftime adjustments. Our substitutes all contributed in a positive way. Increasing our ball speed in the second half completely shifted the tempo, allowing us to dictate play, score and secure our third-straight win."
