DAYTON - University of Dayton men's golf head coach Collin Toner has announced the addition of former Flyer Victor Caliguri as an assistant coach. The 2026 Dayton graduate played two seasons with the Flyers.

"I'm super excited to be with the team this fall and am looking forward to helping prove this team's full potential," commented Caliguri. "The University of Dayton has given me a family and I'm proud to help better them. Go Flyers!"

Caliguri competed in a total of 59 rounds during his career as a player at UD, posting a 73.83 scoring average, and is a former team captain. A two-time participant in the Atlantic 10 Championship for the Flyers, he turned in five top-10 finishes his senior season, including a second-place finish at Miami (Ohio)'s Moraine Intercollegiate. The Cincinnati native qualified for the 2025 U.S. Amateur after carding a three-under 68 at OSU's Scarlet Course on July 30, 2025. Prior to Dayton, Caliguri spent two seasons at Eastern Michigan.

"Our program is very fortunate to keep Victor around in a coaching capacity," said Toner. "We will benefit from his experience as a team captain and a leader on the course. I am very grateful to have Victor as a coaching partner. This opportunity speaks to the strong culture of Dayton men's golf."

Dayton is set to open the 2026-27 season Sept. 14-15 at the RedHawk Intercollegiate hosted by Miami (Ohio). The two-day event will be contested at Pittsburgh Field Club in Pittsburgh, Pa.
