DAYTON - The University of Dayton men's soccer team recorded a 3-2 win over visiting Butler Saturday night as senior
Cooper Lijewski scored the game-winner for the Flyers in the 87th minute. The senior forward leads the team with three goals on the season, including two game winners.
Dayton improves to 4-1-1 on the season while Butler moves to 0-6-1 overall.

Dayton returns to action next Saturday as it kicks off Atlantic 10 Conference play at home against Saint Louis, the Flyers' sixth-consecutive home match. The Billikens were chosen to finish first in A10 play this season, just ahead of Dayton, in the preseason poll. UD and SLU will get underway just after 7 p.m. on Sept. 19 at Baujan Field and admission is free.
