DAYTON - The University of Dayton men's soccer team will welcome RV UNCG to Baujan Field Saturday night in the fourth of seven-consecutive home matches for the Flyers. UD and UNCG will get underway at 7:05 p.m. and admission is free.

ABOUT DAYTON
Dayton (3-1-0) enters Saturday's match enjoying a three-match winning streak including a 2-1 win over visiting Purdue Fort Wayne on Monday. Six different Flyers have scored a goal on the season led by senior Cooper Lijewski and sophomore Antonio Pinto with two goals apiece. Sophomore Pablo Martinez has dished out two assists, Pinto leads the team with five points and Lijewski has gotten off a team-best seven shots. Sophomore Santino Inkpen (3-0-0) has worked 270 minutes between the posts with a 1.00 GAA and eight saves.

SCOUTING UNCG
UNCG (1-0-3) is coming off a 2-2 draw at Davidson on Tuesday, its third-consecutive tie this season. The Spartans, who received votes in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll, are led by the reigning SoCon Offensive Player of the Week Keaviano Francis with three goals. Seth Wilson (1-0-3) has put in 360 minutes in goal for UNCG and carries a 1.00 GAA with 13 saves.

SERIES STUFF
UNCG Leads, 2-0-1
The Flyers and Spartans last squared off on Sept. 6, 2025 in Greensboro as UNCG squeaked out the 4-3 win over UD. Dayton equalized the game at 3-3 in the 70th minute on a converted penalty kick but UNCG was able to net the game winner in the 89th minute to secure the victory.

LAST TIME OUT
Dayton claimed its third-consecutive win Monday night, 2-1, over Purdue Fort Wayne at Baujan Field. Sophomore Antonio Pinto scored the equalizer in the 52nd minute, his second goal of the season and a total of 11 different Flyers got off a shot in the match, including sophomore Farouq Ogundare with a career-high-tying three.

• Dennis Currier is in his 22nd season as head coach of the Flyers in 2026. His record at Dayton is 205-126-69 (.599) and his career win-loss mark sits at 393-175-81 (.668) over a total of 33 seasons. Currier has tallied the program's most wins (205) and most winning seasons (14).
• Three Flyers were named to the 2026 Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference Team: Miles Bonham, Mikkel Madsen and Braden Seel. Dayton was picked to finish second in the Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll behind 2025 champion Saint Louis.
