WASHINGTON - University of Dayton sophomore goalkeeper Santino Inkpen has been named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Tuesday.

George Washington's Jaden Dubon was named Offensive Player of the Week and Loyola Chicago's Mateusz Drazek earned Rookie of the Week honors. The awards are for games played from August 31 to September 6.

Inkpen helped Dayton earn strong results in a pair of non-conference matchups, making nine saves across both matches. The Alexandria, Va., native stopped one shot in the Flyers' 2-1 win over Purdue Fort Wayne before recording a career-high eight saves in a 1-1 draw against UNC Greensboro – a team receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll.

Dayton continues its seven-match home stand next Saturday with a contest against Butler. The Flyers and Bulldogs will get underway at 7:05 p.m. at Baujan Field and admission is free. Join the team after the game for post-match autographs.
