2013
Monnier ended a remarkable career with an outstanding senior season. He recorded 105 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. His efforts earned him First Team All-PFL and Second Team Academic All-PFL Honors. Monnier was also a repeat winner of the Chief Toscani Hitter Award. He was also the only defender to start every game in 2012 and 2013. A 2013 team captain, Monnier is only the fifth two-time captain in school history.

2012
The most decorated player on the team, Monnier was First Team All-PFL, First Team Academic All-PFL, team MVP and the winner of the Chief Toscani Hitter Award in 2012. He was also presented with the Outstanding Leadership by a Male Student-Athlete Award at UD’s end-of-the-year all-sport banquet in the spring. In 2012, he was the only defensive starter to play in all 11 games and led the team with 92 tackles. He also led the team in solo hits (46) and tackles for loss (12). His two interceptions were tied for second on the team.

2011
Monnier played in all 11 games for the Flyers in 2011, starting the last eight. He finished second on the team in tackles with 64 and recorded nine tackles for loss, two sacks and two interceptions.

2009-10
Monnier redshirted the 2009 season and did not see game action in the 2010 campaign due to injuries. He is a four-time member of the PFL Academic Honor Roll.

Personal:
Son of Michael and Mary Monnier…Born on June 26, 1991…Majoring in Pre-Med…Monnier was team captain and MVP as a senior for Marist High School. He was First Team All East Suburban Catholic Conference in 2007 and 2008 and academic all-state in 2008.
