Biography

2011 (Junior): One of two Flyers to start in all 59 games ...  Recorded the second-most RBI for Dayton (39) ... Lead team in multi-RBI games (11) ... Notched a career-high five RBI against Rhode Island (5/19), including a three-run homerun to help UD defeat URI 13-2 ... Fourth on the team in runs scored (35) … Scored three runs in a game twice, both in the series against Temple (4/1, 4/3) … First homerun as a Flyer came against Canisius, a three-run shot … All three of his homeruns were hit with runners on base … Featured a season-long five-game hitting streak … Started at four positions in the field, including 18 games at first base and 32 in left field … Recorded a career-high 17 putouts as the first baseman at USC Upstate (2/26) … Totaled 220 putouts on the season with a .974 fielding percentage. 

Prior to UD: Played at Sinclair Community College in Dayton as a sophomore and Ohio Dominican University as a freshman ... Helped Sinclair capture the 2010 Ohio Community College Athletic Conference title ... 2010 All-Region and OCCAC All-Conference ... Only player to play in all 50 games, leading Sinclair to a 42-8 record ... .381 batting average, 11 homeruns and a team-best 67 RBI at Sinclair ... Went 2-for-4 with a grand slam homerun in the 2010 OCCAC title game against Owens CC (5/1) ... Played 51 games for Ohio Dominican (NAIA) in 2009 ... Hit .339 with a team-best 54 RBI as a freshman with the Panthers ... Ohio Dominican is currently transitioning to NCAA Division II.

High School: Played under Coach Tony Ferraro at Wayne High School in nearby Huber Heights ... Became first Wayne baseball player with zero strikeouts at the plate in a season ...
