HOWARD SAVAGE

At Dayton:

2013
In the 2013 season, Savage started in all 11 games for the Flyers. He recorded 75 tackles, 48 solo tackles, and forced two fumbles.

2012
Savage returns for the 2013 season after missing the last half of 2012 with an ankle injury (ironically, the injury happened against Butler in his hometown of Indianapolis). He was second on the team in tackles per game (6.6, 33 total) and also had two interceptions and four passes broken up.

2011
 In 2011, Savage saw action in 10 games, starting six of them at cornerback. He recorded 45 tackles and five pass break ups on the year.

2010
Savage saw action in 10 games as a true freshman for the Flyers during the 2010 season. He recorded 14 tackles for the season as the team’s third corner.

Personal:
Son of Howard Savage, Sr. and Everlla Savage…Born on March 14, 1992…Majoring in Criminal Justice, with minors in Sociology and Psychology…Savage was a team captain of the state champion Warren Central football team. He was selected first team all-county and was a member of National Honor Society.
