Tailgating at Flyer Football games is a privilege, one that the University of Dayton is pleased to extend to all our fans, former students, visitors, and friends.

In many ways, the time spent tailgating can be just as fun and memorable as the game. We invite you to enjoy all of the beauty and camaraderie that our campus has to offer while you cheer your team to victory!

Guidelines

Tailgating is permitted in the parking lots for UD Football games under the following guidelines:

• Parking lots open at 8 a.m. No fans will be permitted in the lots before then.

• At halftime, all tailgates must end and fans must either enter the game or leave the parking lots.

• Tailgating is permitted to the space in which your vehicle is parked. Drive lanes in parking lots must be maintained at all times.
Saving parking spaces is not permitted.

• Please follow the directions of the parking attendants.

• Possession and consumption of alcohol are subject to the laws and regulations of the State of Ohio and/or City of Dayton. Under Ohio law, no person shall possess an opened container of beer or intoxicating liquor in any public place.

• Police and other Public Safety officials will be stationed in the tailgating area in the event that the need would arise for assistance.

• The park adjacent to Lot D is a City of Dayton Neighborhood Park. No tailgating is permitted in the park.

• Restrooms are available for tailgaters in portable restrooms in the parking lot and, for Family Weekend only, the West Entry to UD Arena.

• Trash dumpsters are available throughout the parking lot. You are expected to dispose of your trash appropriately.

• Parking lots must be cleared shortly after completion of the UD football game so the property can be reset for a Dayton Public School football game later that evening or the next day.
