Struck out a season-high seven batters in his Dayton debut against Wofford (Feb. 15)...Threw 47 2/3 innings over 13 appearances and 11 starts.

Named to All-World Series Team... Posted a 4-1 record and a 1.70 ERA as a sophomore.

Graduated from Rowlett High School in Dallas... Earned All-District honors senior year as a first baseman, third baseman, and pitcher... Had a 0.80 ERA while pitching his final year as well.
