Biography

2023 (Junior)
• Shifted from a relief role to starter during the campaign, going 5-4 in 17 appearances with 12 starts
• Finished the season with a 5.32 ERA in 66.0 innings of work, striking out 53 and walking 25
• Threw a career-best 7.2 innings against George Washington on April 2, striking out five and not allowing an earned run
• Struck out a career-high eight batters at Rhode Island on April 28, picking up the win for the Flyers in 6.2 innings of work
• Now has 52 appearances in his career, needing 11 more to enter into Dayton's All-Time record book at No. 10

2022 (Sophomore)
• Led the team and tied for second-most in program history with 27 appearances in 2022
• Made one start for the Flyers on the mound
• Ranked fifth on the team with 34.2 innings pitched and fourth with 35 strikeouts
• Finished with a 5-3 record and a 5.71 ERA
• Made his season debut on Feb. 19 at North Carolina A&T, allowing one hit
• Struck out five in two innings at Eastern Kentucky on March 2
• Picked up his first career win on March 6 at Belmont, picking up a strikeout in one scoreless inning
• Won his second game of the season at Purdue Fort Wayne on March 16, pitching 3.1 scoreless innings in relief
• Struck out three in 3.1 innings on March 18 at Michigan allowing one run
• Got win number three on the season on April 9 at George Washington, pitching one scoreless inning
• On April 10 at George Washington went a career-long 4.2 innings in relief, striking out a career high six Colonials
• Made his lone start of the season on April 16 at Fordham, going 1.1 innings, striking out three
• Broke into the top 10 in program history with his 24th appearance of the season against Richmond, pitching three innings in relief on May 15
• Moved into a tie for sixth with his 25th appearance of the year on May 19 at Saint Louis, pitching two-thirds scoreless innings
• Passed Craig Rohren and John Scott with his 26th appearance, moving into a tie for fourth picking up his fifth win of the year on May 20 at Saint Louis
• Passed Tyson Schnitkey and Burny Mitchem with his 27th and final appearance in the team's last game of the season, tying him with Cale Ort in 2006 and Trent Haughn in 2010, two behind Peter Rozman's 29 in 2017

2021 (Freshman)
• Appeared in eight games, making and one start, and totaling 3.1 innings on the mound for the Flyers
• Made collegiate debut on Feb. 20 at South Carolina, going two-thirds of an inning for Dayton
• Picked up first career strikeout on March 6 against Oakland
• Made first career start on March 24 at Eastern Kentucky
• Set a career-high with two strikeouts on April 3 against Xavier, pitching one inning in the contest
