Started in all 46 games he played in during the 2014 season... Finished the year with a .231 batting average, totaling 37 hits, including seven doubles and two home runs... Recorded 22 RBI... Was third on the team with 18 walks... Had a .332 on base percentage... Added four steals on five attempts... Had 96 putouts and 131 assists, for a .962 fielding percentage.

Played for Glendale Community College his freshman and sophomore years... Named 2012 Rawlings National Gold Glove Award... Was 2012 and 2013 Western State Conference Defensive Player of the Year.

Gradauted from Alemany High School in California... Was a four-year letterwinner... Was awarded  Second Team All-Mission League honors in 2009... Awarded First Team All-Mission League honors in 2010.

Son of Sal and Lydia Plasencia... He has two older brothers, Jordan and Omar, and two younger sisters, Josslyn and Celeste... Majoring in general studies major... Aspires to go into coaching after college.
