Brian Dougherty will be in his second season with Dayton after joining the staff in 2016. He will act as the secondary coach for the Flyers.
Dougherty most recently was a Graduate Assistant Wide Receiver (2015) and Defensive Back (2014) coach for Ball State University. He has also had experience coaching Corners (Milliken, 2013), Quarterbacks (Miami, OH 2012), Linebackers (Miami, OH 2011), and Defensive Line (Miami, OH 2010) at the collegiate level. In 2009, Dougherty was the Freshman Defensive Back coach for local Archbishop Alter High School in Kettering, OH.
Dougherty received his Bachelor degree in Physical Education from Miami University (OH) in 2012 and then received his Masters in Athletic Coaching Educaiton from Ball State in 2016.
