Zion Hawkins was added to the Dayton football staff in the summer of 2024. Hawkins will serve as the assistant defensive line coach.

He earned his undergrad degree in Strategic Communications from Notre Dame College near Cleveland.

The native of Dallas, Ga. played in 21 games at linebacker over three seasons at Notre Dame College.
