• Four-year varsity high school player, the last three at Pickerington North
• Was All-Ohio Capital Conference and all-district as a senior
• Also won the Team Leadership award for a team that won the OCC championship in 2020 
• Had 90 tackles, 14.5 TFL two PBU and three QB hurries
• Three-sport athlete -- Earned the top GPA on the basketball team twice, and threw the shot and disc for Pick North's 2021 state championship team

• Son of Lorry Starner and John Johnson 
• Has two siblings -- twiin brother Chad and their older sister Emma
• Emma was a softball pitcher at Kent State, was inducted into the KSU Hall of Fame in 2022 and served as associate head coach for the Golden Flashes
• Majoring in Education & Allied Studies
• Hopes to teach and coach
