• Started at center in all 11 games 
• Named a 2016 team captain
• Shane is also a Student Representative for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the 2016-17 Academic Year. 
• Named the Stan Kurdziel Memorial Trophy winner for being the team's top lineman

• Returned to the center position for the Flyers, starting in all 12 games
