Attended Dematha Catholic High School where he was the two-time Player of the Year... Was also a two-time All-WCAC and All-County First Team selection in 2008 and 2009... Named team captain in 2009... DeMatha was ranked No. 1 by the NSCAA in 2007... In three seasons he helped DeMatha to a 62-6-3 overall record... Tallied 22 goals and 26 assists... Named to Principal’s Honor Roll and carried a 3.90 GPA... Won Atlanta Cup and Florida President’s Cup with West Pines United (Fla.) where he played from 1998-2002... Son of Al and Kelley Alvarez of Gambrills, Md.... His uncle Joe Alvarez was inducted into the George Mason Hall of Fame and drafted in the First Round by the Baltimore Blast in 1983... Brian was born April 22, 1992... Majoring in entrepreneurship.
