Brendon Boucaud joined the University of Dayton men's soccer staff in June 2017 as an assistant coach.

"It is a great honor to be a part of the staff and the community here at Dayton," Boucaud stated. "The program has done very well under the guidance of coach Dennis Currier and now I am here to help add to the success and to the legacy that has been created by Dayton's Men's Soccer. I am extremely excited!"

Boucaud joined the Flyers after previously coaching at Central Methodist University. He served as a graduate assistant coach at CMU from August 2015 to December 2016. He was appointed assistant coach in January 2017. While with the Eagles, he also held the head coaching position for the junior varsity program at Central Methodist.

"Brendon is an ambitious young coach who will bring a high level of energy to our program," said Dayton head coach Dennis Currier. "He was a stand-out during his interview process and it is great have him on board."

In December 2016, Boucaud earned his Master's of Education Degree from Central Methodist University. He previously received his Bachelor's of Science in Sports Management in May 2013.

Now living in Dayton, Boucaud originally hails from St. Ann's, Trinidad and Tobago.

Boucaud's playing highlights
Professional Career:
  • Played professionally in the Trinidad and Tobago Professional League. Spent the 2014-15 season playing for San Juan Jabloteh in the Trinidad and Tobago Professional Soccer League. While there, won the Toyota Classic Cup, was runner's up in First Citizen's Cup and finished 4th in the League standings. Played an integral role in the team's success.
  • Represented another club from the Trinidad and Tobago Professional League (W Connection FC) in the 2013-2014 CONCACAF Champions League.
  • Had a brief stint/trial at Thailand based 2nd Division club Krabi FC in 2013.
  • Played for PDL team Lehigh Valley Sonic
  • Played for NPSL team Pocono Snow
College Career:
  • Played soccer at the collegiate level for three different schools (University of New Mexico, Illinois Institute of Technology and Central Methodist University) 
  • Played three years at Central Methodist from 2011 to 2013. Was the team captain in both 2012 and 2013
  • While at Central Methodist, received multiple HAAC All Conference Team Recognition, Defensive Player Recognition for outstanding defensive performances. Was a very important part of a backline that held numerous shutouts.
  • Season record in 2012: 2-6-1
  • While at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, That season, the Hawks won the 2010 regular season championship and Boucaud received All-Conference Recognition for his outstanding Defensive performance 
  • In 2009, Boucaud began his collegiate career at the University of New Mexico; where his squad earned a spot in the NCAA National Tournament.

Represented his home country of Trinidad and Tobago at the national youth team level; both the U17 and U20 teams. He attended St. Anthony's College; a high school in Trinidad and Tobago. While in high school, his team won numerous titles throughout his four years of school and he was also named team captain for two consecutive years.
