Freddy Rogers joined the men's soccer staff ahead of the 2026 season as a graduate assistant coach.
He will support the coaching staff with logistical responsibilities and operations while also serving as the goalkeepers coach.Â
Rogers spent the spring 2026 semester at North Carolina Wesleyan after graduating from University of Mary Washington in December of 2025. Over two seasons at UMW (2023-2024), Rogers competed in 36 matches in goal for the Eagles. He posted a 0.76 GAA, an .801 save percentage and a 28-3-4 overall record.
Following his senior season at UMW, Rogers was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America First Team after leading the Eagles to a C2C championship. He was also named the C2C Senior Student-Athlete of the Year and a College Sports Communicators Academic All-American.
The High Wycombe, England, native started his collegiate career at NC Wesleyan, spending two seasons with the Battling Bishops.
