Biography
2010: Started the season being named one of TopDrawerSoccer.com A-10 Players to Watch... played in 15 games for Dayton starting in 14 of those, before a shoulder injury ended her career...she tallied 25 shots on the season with 10 on goal...finished the year with 10 points off three goals and four assists; one of those goals clinched the victory against Rhode Island....scored three points in two different games (Fordham 10/1/10 and Rhode Island 10/8/10) with each coming from a goal and assist...was named a team co-captain and to the Penn Invitational All-Tournament Team...was also named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team...garnered CoSIDA Academic All-District IV Third Team Honors as well as earning NSCAA Second Team Academic All-East Region Honors...was named to the 2010 Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award List, an award that celebrates a senior’s commitment to the community, classroom, competition and character.
2009: A co-captain, she started every game, finishing third on the team in assists with seven… accounted for 17 points, with five goals to go along with the seven assists… named to the CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 4 and was an All-Atlantic 10 Honorable Mention selection...also a recipient of Dayton’s Stacey Martin Memorial Award for the second consecutive year, only the second player in history to do so... converted a penalty kick in a shootout against No 25 Marquette (Nov. 13) to help Dayton advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament...scored a goal against Middle Tennessee State (Aug. 30), Miami (Sept. 18), La Salle (Oct. 4), St. Bonaventure (Oct. 28) and Saint Louis (Nov. 6)...tallied a season-high two assists against Xavier (Oct. 31), helping UD clinch the A-10 regular season title...named a member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll for consecutive Fall semesters… capped off her successful year with a selection to the OCSA Division I Academic All-Ohio Second Team.
2008: Followed up a stellar rookie campaign with a strong sophomore season with 22 appearances and 21 starts...Switched from defender to forward and finished second on the team in goals (6), assists (6) and points (18)...Tied for the team lead in game-winning goals with three...Scored her first game-winner in overtime against Pittsburgh at the Illini Challenge Cup and was named to the all-tournament team...Scored the game-winners against Michigan (Sept. 5) and both goals against La Salle (Nov. 2)...Had an assist on the goal that allowed Dayton to tie up the score against Wright State (Sept. 19) with 46 seconds left in the match and the Flyers went on to win in overtime...Earned All-Atlantic 10 and All-Ohio Second Team honors...Selected to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV Second Team and was one of 11 players named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team...In addition, was named First Team Academic All-Ohio by OCSA...Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and UD Dean's List for Fall 2008...Honored as the co-winner of the Stacey Martin Leadership Award.
2007: Started in all 21 of the Flyers' games...Named to the Atlantic 10 all-Rookie Team...Recorded two goals, including the game-winner versus Oakland (Sept. 23)...Also recorded three assists on the season, two of which came in a 5-1 win over George Washington (Sept. 30)...named to the all-Region Freshman Team by Soccer Buzz Magazine...Tied for third on the team with seven points...Member of the 2008-09 Atlantic 10 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Prior to UD: Named a 2006 adidas/NSCAA all-American ... Selected First Team all-State in 2006, First Team all-Conference and all-Area in '05 and '06 ... Named the 2006 Greater Western Conference Player of the Year ... Led Beavercreek to an 18-1-2 record and a Regional Finals appearance in 2006 ... Holds record at Beavercreek for most career wins at 67 ... Part of the Ohio-South Olympic Development Program State Team from 2001-2005.
