Kaylee Thomas joined the Dayton Volleyball staff during the spring 2022 semester as the program's volunteer assistant coach. She was promoted to director of operations in late September of 2022.
After playing four seasons at Alabama as a defensive specialist/libero, Thomas became the 14th player in UA history to surpass 1,000 career digs before graduating with a bachelor's degree in consumer sciences and she also completed a master's degree in sports hospitality management in spring of 2021. She played one season as a graduate student at Maryland in 2021, playing in all 112 sets the Terps competed in, and was second on the team with 292 digs.
Thomas is a native of Ocala, Florida.
