Biography

Coach Sheffield's Outlook: “She is obviously the player that our opponents are always going to be aware of and will focus their defense on. Every year Lindsay has just gotten better and better. She had the best off-season she's ever had and is looking to really turn some heads this year. Right now I see a player who is battling better than she ever has when things are getting tough. There's no question she is a more confident player, and I love seeing that. The past couple of years she's played with and against some of the best players in the country over the summer and she knows she's got the game to compete against the best.”

First Volleyball Memory
My first memory of volleyball is trying out for the team in eighth grade even though I had no interest in playing the sport. I will be thanking my mom for making me tryout for the rest of my life.

Career Goals
After my five years at UD I want to play volleyball overseas. I also want to go back to school and become a sports psychiatrist.

Role Model
My older brother Jeff.  He is one of the most amazing people I have ever met and I have so much respect for him.  He works hard everyday as a police officer.

Most Memorable Experience in College
The past two summers playing with the USA volleyball team. It was a great experience that I will remember forever. My favorite memory playing at UD is playing Xavier my sophomore year in front of our record crowd!
