2010 (Junior): One of two Flyers to be named Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference and CoSIDA Academic All-District IV (Third Team) ... Named Most-Improved Player by coaches and teammates ... Made first start since 2007 against Pittsburgh (8/27) after recovering from multiple major knee injuries the past two seasons ... Started 29 matches and played in 99 sets ... Sixth in the A-10 in blocks per set (0.89), helping the Flyers finish the season ranked seventh in the nation in blocks per set (2.95) ... Five matches with five or more blocks ... One of five Flyers to finish with over 150 kills, tallying 180 on a .268 hitting percentage ... Recorded a season-high 14 kills on a career-high .522 hitting percentage (10 kill minimum) in a three-set sweep at Ohio (11/26) ... Helped defeat No. 22Northern Iowa (9/3) with six blocks and seven kills in three sets played ... When recording more than five kills, registered no attacking errors in three matches; 8k-0e-21ta against Arizona State (8/28), 5k-0e-8ta at Duquesne (9/26), and 8k-0e-13ta against George Washington (10/22) ... 2007 (Freshman): Finished third on the team in blocks per set (0.77) and fifth in kills per set (2.27) ... Accounted for 14 kills and a season-high eight blocks against Miami (11/24) ... Posted a career-high 15 kills against Duquesne (10/26) ... Tallied eight kills, two digs and one block in her collegiate debut during a season-opening win over IPFW (8/24) ... Had her first double-digit kill performance against Illinois (8/25) ... Posted 11 kills while hitting .476 in a NCAA First Round victory over Lipscomb (11/30).

High School: Led Cathedral High School to the ISHAA 4A State Championship Match three straight years, including a 2006 State Title ... Personal: Born June 9, 1988 to Tom and Connie Marten ... Youngest of six children including three sisters (Bernadette, Danielle and Veronica) and two brothers (Tom and Ben) ... Her sister Bernadette Marten-Teeley (Dayton ’00) won a gold medal for the U.S. in the 2002 World Rowing Championships ... Her cousin Jim Marten was an offensive lineman at Boston College and was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2007 NFL Draft ... Pre-dentistry emphasis.
