CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Behind rounds of 80 from sophomores Katie Gallagher and Katie Dempsey, the Dayton Flyers are in 10th after round one of the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate.
In a round filled with rain delays, the Flyers managaed as a team a total score of 331. Dayton is 10th out of 14 teams at the event.
The two Katies enjoyed similar afternoons. Dempsey shot a 41 on the front nine and rallied for a 39 on the back. Gallagher tallied a 43 on the front nine and put together a 37 on the back.
Coming in third on the team was freshman Julie Pouliquen who added an 85.
Senior Mary Kane made her first appearance of the 2007-08 season and added an 86. Sophomore Casey Peterson rebounded from a slow start on the back nine and finished with a 90.
The Flyers will conlcude the intercollegiate on Tuesday from the Clarksville Country Club.
