In the latest edition of the Flyers' "Summer Spotlight," sophomore Cari DeAngelis provides insight on what she has been working on over the summer and some of the best aspects about last season.
Summer Spotlight - Cari DeAngelis
What are you doing over the summer to keep your game in shape for the fall season?
I am either on the range working on my swing, playing 9 or 18, or working on a specific part of my game like chipping or putting.
Now that you made it through your first year at UD, what advice do you have for our new players coming in this fall?
In the summer try to play 18 holes as much as possible and once you get to UD manage your time wisely.
What do you wish you would have done differently in your senior year in high school to prepare for college?
Instead of just asking questions in class, I should have gone to teachers after class about things that still confused me.
To prepare for college golf?
Played more over the summer.
What was the most fun part of your freshman year?
Hanging out and doing different activities with the new friends I made.
