LEXINGTON, Ky. – Junior
Chris Woeste shot an even-par 71 to lead the University of Dayton Flyers after round one of the UK Bluegrass Invitational.
Round two play was suspended because of darkness. The teams will return to the course Sunday morning at 8:45 a.m. ET to finish the second round. The major change will be that instead of fixed tee times tomorrow the tournament will have a shotgun start with the same setup and starting location held earlier.
After the first round, UD was tied for 13th, but just 12 strokes away from first place.
Freshman
Sean Keating continued his strong play of late shooting a 72 in round one.
Sophomore
Michael Oberschmidt and freshman
Matt Buse each carded a 75, while junior
Jeff Hodapp carded a 78.
