NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Dayton Flyers were picked to finish in fifth in the 2011 Atlantic 10 Men’s Golf Preseason poll as voted on by the league’s head coaches.

Blakeman led the team in the fall with a 74.8 stroke average, while Keating earned an A-10 All-Rookie Team selection last season.

Oberschmidt had a solid fall as well averaging 75.6 strokes per round during the fall campaign. Woeste is a two-year team captain who earned the 2008 Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year and was a First Team All-Atlantic 10 selection.

The Flyers will begin the spring season in March as Dayton travels to compete in the North Georgia Spring Invitational on March 4.
