AVON, Ind. – An even-par 72 from senior
Chris Woeste led the University of Dayton Flyers to a fourth-place finish at the 2011 Butler Spring Invitational.
Woeste, who previously shot a 74 in round one, stormed through the field and ended up in a tie for fifth among individuals.
Sophomore
Brenten Blakeman improved by one stroke from round one and carded a 74. Blakeman tied for 15th among individuals.
Just one stroke behind Blakeman was round one leader
Michael Oberschmidt. Oberschmidt shot an 80 in round two and finished in a tie for 17th.
Sophomore
Sean Keating added an 80 as well in round two and senior
Jeff Hodapp completed his round with an 83.
As a team, Dayton shot a 306 in round two, compared to a 295 in round one.
The Flyers head down south to take part in the University of Kentucky Bluegrass Invitational on April 9-10 for their next tournament.
