COLUMBUS, Ohio - Battling heavy rains throughout the day, the Dayton Flyers are in 12th after the first two rounds of the 2012 Robert Kepler Intercollegiate.
UD shot a 308 team score in round one and a 318 in the second.
Matt Buse is leading the Flyers after shooting a 77 in round one and a 75 in the second. Buse is tied for 19th among individuals after the first day.
John Muir, playing in his first event of the spring season, opened the tournament with a 77 in round one and added an 87 in round two.
Michael Oberschmidt bounced back from an 81 in round one to fire a 78 in the second.
Brenten Blakeman fired a four-over 75 in the first round to lead the Flyers after 18 holes of play. He faded in the second round carding an 82.
Sean Keating rounded out the scoring after shooting a 79 in round one and an 83 in the second.
The third and final round will take place on Sunday, April 15 beginning at 9 a.m. ET.
