UD COMPLETES ROUND TWO OF THE CAA CHAMPIONSHIP

SOUTHPORT, N.C. – Sophomore Grace Nikolai led the Dayton Flyers with a second round 82 at the Colonial Athletic Association Women’s Golf Championship.

After not recording a birdie in round one, Nikolai had two. She needed only two shots on the second hole and birdied the par four on number 11.

Maggie Prokop also improved from round one to shoot an 85. Prokop had an 86 in round one.

Kelly Coakley shot an 88 in round two, but recorded two birdies as well. She had a birdie on holes three and nine.

After leading Dayton in round one, Kelly Muskat dropped back after shooting a 91 in round two. Lucy Frey added an 89 in round two as well.

The Flyers as a team shot a 344 and are in 10th overall.

The third and final round will take place on Sunday, April 22 beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET. The tournament will continue at the Reserve Club at the St. James Plantation in Southport, N.C. Live Scoring will be available through CAAsports.com and GolfStat.com.
