Dayton women's soccer hosts the George Mason Patriots in an Atlantic-10 conference match at Baujan Field Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. It is the Camper Reunion Match. There will be a fun zone in the parking lot with a bounce house castle that has a slide and a basketball hoop. There will be a face painter, balloon animals, corn hole and chances to win UD soccer prizes. The UD men's team will play Incarnate Word following the UD women's match. Kick off for that match is slated for 8 p.m.
FLYER NOTES
• UD leads the Atlantic 10 in shots (203) and points (68) and goals scored (23). The Flyers are second in the conference in assists (22) and shutouts (5).

This will be the second time the Flyers play the Patriots, with the Patriots taking the first game back in '88, 1-0.
SCOUTING THE PATRIOTS
• George Mason is coming off of a 7-11-1 season in 2012 along with a 3-6-1 record in the Colonial Athletic Association. This marks their first season in the Atlantic 10 and tonight is their first A-10 women's soccer match in program history.
• The Patriots are 1-4-1 in road matches this season.
• Jazmin Cardoso leads George Mason with 6 points (2 goals and 2 assists).
• George Mason is coached by Diane Drake, who is in her 10th season as head coach for the Patriots. She is a 1993 University of Dayton graduate.
• GMU is 3-6-1 this season and are currently on a three-game losing streak.

The Flyers will head out to Massachusetts for another Atlantic 10 match Friday, Oct. 11 at 4 p.m. at Rudd Field and then play Rhode Island on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 12:30 p.m. in an A-10 match.
CAMPBELL HAT TRICK EARNS HER HONORS
Dayton forward
Ashley Campbell has been named Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the second time this season. She was recognized for games played Sept. 23-29. Campbell was also named to the TopDrawerSoccer National Team of the Week. In Dayton's first conference matchup against Richmond, Campbell recorded her first collegiate hat trick, registering a career-high six points. She scored three consecutive goals in the 8th, 33rd and 49th minutes in the 4-0 victory over the Spiders.
LIBERTIN SELECTED TO TOP 30 FOR SENIOR CLASS AWARD
Juliana Libertin has been selected as a candidate for the 2013 Senior CLASS Award. She is one of 30 NCAA® women's soccer student-athletes who excel both on and off the field were selected as a candidate. Libertin is the fifth UD women's soccer player to be named to the Senior CLASS Top 30 since the award was started in 2007.
KICKS FOR KIDS
The Flyer women's soccer team is collaborating with the University of Dayton Department of Health and Sport Science to support their Adapted Physical Activity Program with "Kicks for Kids". Fans can send donations to: University of Dayton, c/o Kicks for Kids, 300 College Park, Dayton, OH 45469-1210. The funds raised will go toward equipment for the UD Adapted Physical Activity Program.
FLYER SUCCESS
The Dayton women's soccer program owns an overall record of 398-162-43 since it became a varsity program in 1984. The Flyers made NCAA Tournament Appearances in 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010 and 2011, advancing to the second round in both 2009 and 2010 and to the Sweet Sixteen in 2001.
BELIEVIN' IN BAUJAN
The Flyers are 197-57-19 all-time in games played at Baujan Field. There have been 273 UD women's soccer games played at the historic venue and the Flyers own a .756 winning percentage in those matches. In the last five years UD women's soccer is 42-7-4 at home; an astounding .827 winning percentage at Baujan. BennettRank College Soccer recently posted its findings of a year-long study on the validity to a home field advantage. The University of Dayton's Baujan Field was ranked 29th in all of NCAA Division I women's soccer.
LIBERTIN SPIRIT

Juliana Libertin, a member of the 2010 Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team, scored 10 goals and had 10 assists in 2011, eclipsing her two goals scored and six assists in her freshman season. She was Dayton's third leading scorer in 2011 (10 g, 10 a, 30 pts). She finished fourth in the A-10 for points. In 2012, Libertin scored 12 goals and dished 11 assists. Libertin has 35 career assists, placing her second all-time at UD and she is the leader in the NCAA for career assists for active players.
REPRESENTING CANADA
Two University of Dayton women's soccer players earned their first-ever international caps when the U-20 Canadian National team took on Norway July 31.
Ashley Campbell and
Nicole Waters are among 19 prospective players for next year's FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Canada 2014 who were selected for a 12-day Women's National Excel camp in Copenhagen, Denmark. While overseas, they played in three matches against a local professional team, and national teams from Norway and Denmark.
FLYERS PICKED TO WIN A-10 AGAIN
For the fifth straight year, the University of Dayton women's soccer team has been chosen as the Atlantic 10 Conference preseason favorite in a vote conducted by the league's 13 head coaches Dayton and La Salle each received 160 points in the voting, forcing a tiebreaker scenario in which Dayton earned the most first-place nods (7). The Flyers, who seek a record ninth A-10 Championship title, return eight starters and will rely offensively on 2012 All-Conference selections
Juliana Libertin and
Ashley Campbell, who combined for a total of 24 goals last season, to fill the void of A-10 Offensive Player of the Year,
Colleen Williams. Dayton will be trying for its fourth championship in five years.
SMIGEL SISTERS
Junior
Kelsey Smigel was Dayton's fourth leading scorer last season. Her younger sister sophomore
Alyson Smigel played in four games last year. Both played at perennial high school powerhouse Walsh Jesuit.
DAYTON'S A-10 BACKGROUND
• Dayton has won the A-10 Tournament Championship more than any other team in the conference: eight times (1996, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2011).
• UD has also won or shared 10 Atlantic 10 Regular Season titles (1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010). The next closest is Massachusetts with five.
• Dayton has reached the finals 10 times and is 8-2 in the championship game.
