KETTERING, Ohio - Just three shots behind second place and 12 off the leader, the University of Dayton women's golf team wrapped up play in its only home event of the season Tuesday in third place out of 18 teams at the Dayton Fall Invitational. The 36-hole competition was held on the par-70, 5,869-yard North Course of NCR Country Club. Senior
Maggie Prokop lead the Flyers with a 73-81=154 total for a tie in eighth place, one of four UD golfers to finish in the top 20.

Grace Nikolai placed 11th overall for the Flyers after carding a 78 second-round score while sophomore
Mika Suntay also turned in a 78 on Tuesday to finish in a tie for 15th place. Junior
Lucy Frey took seven strokes off her total from Monday, firing a round of 75 rounding out the scoring in a tie for 20th place. Junior
Kelly Muskat turned in a round of 94 (95th place).
The Flyers also fielded a "B" team for the tournament, which finished in a tie for 11th place overall. Dayton B was led by freshman
Jenna DiPaolo with a 74-84 two-round total which was good for a 24th-place tie. Junior
Mary-Katherine Slattery finished in a tie for 30th place after firing rounds of 76 and 84.

Erin Peavy carded back-to-back 81s for 35th place and sophomore
Amalia Emma tied for 70th place with her 86-83=169 two-round total. Sophomore
Jacki Berardi rounded out play for UD with an 87 on Tuesday, eight strokes better than her round on Monday, finishing in a tie for 93rd.
The Flyers will round out fall competition next Monday at Evansville's Braun Intercollegiate to be held at Quail Crossing Golf Club.
