Dayton Match Notes
DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton volleyball team is hitting the road this weekend for its last away Atlantic 10 Conference regular season matches of the season. The Flyers will square off against the Colonials of George Washington on Friday at 7 p.m. at GW's Smith Center followed by a 7 p.m. match at George Mason on Saturday at the Patriots' Recreation and Athletic Complex.
ABOUT THE FLYERS
Dayton (10-11, 4-5 A-10) suffered an Atlantic 10 loss last weekend, dropping a 3-1 decision at Duquesne on Oct. 26. The Flyers have won three of their last five matches heading into this weekend's away contests at George Washington and George Mason. As a team, Dayton leads the league and is second in the nation with 3.03 blocks per set.
Senior
Megan Campbell is the team's offensive leader, averaging 2.70 kills/set while hitting at a .320 clip (5th A-10). Sophomore
Jenna Jendryk is the squad's floor general, setting 9.13 assists per set (6th A-10), and sophomore
Janna Krafka is averaging 4.35 digs/set (2nd A-10) as the team's leading passer. At the net, four Flyers are averaging more than one block per set, including Campbell with 1.36 (2nd A-10, 24th NCAA).
SCOUTING GEORGE WASHINGTON
George Washington (11-11, 6-2 A-10) has won six out of its last seven contests with a loss coming to Duquesne on Oct. 25. GW followed the setback with a straight-set win at home against George Mason.
Chidima Osuchukwu leads the Colonials and the Atlantic 10 Conference with a .378 hitting percentage. Osuchukwu also leads the Colonials in blocks/set with 1.11 (10th A-10) while Maddy Doyle ranks third in the league with 4.20 digs/set.
SCOUTING GEORGE MASON
George Mason (6-17, 2-7 A-10) is currently suffering through a four-match losing streak with losses coming to VCU, Rhode Island, and George Washington (twice). As a team, the Patriots have an opponent hitting percentage of .179 (2nd A-10) and average 2.74 blocks/set (3rd A-10).
The Patriots are solid defensively, as Lolade Owokoniran leads GW with 1.36 blocks/set (1st in A-10). Bernetta Moore is another defensive leader for the team, averaging 4.54 digs per set (1st A-10).

Dayton heads into this weekend's match holding a RPI (Rating Percentage Index) ranking of 109 according to ncaa.com. George Washington and George Mason comes in behind UD at 176 and 274 respectively out of 332 Division I programs ranked in the RPI.

Megan Campbell and junior
Isolde Hannan are moving up the Dayton career assisted blocks list as the top two blockers for the Flyers this season. Campbell currently ranks fifth all-time with 379 assisted blocks while Hannan comes in at number seven with 308 block assists. So far this season, Campbell has recorded a team-best 99 BAs while Hannan has 77. With one more assisted block, Campbell will have recorded her third consecutive season with 100 or more block assists.
CAMPBELL NEARING 1,000 KILLS

Megan Campbell is not only the team's leading blocker but also leads the team with 205 kills this season. For her career, Campbell has tallied 857 kills and is just 143 kills shy of becoming the 21st Flyer to reach the 1,000-kill mark.

BATTLING THE BEST
Five of Dayton's losses this season were against teams that were ranked or receiving votes in the AVCA Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Flyers defeated Saint Mary's (Calif.), 3-2, when the Gaels were receiving votes in the national poll earlier this season.

In the Flyers' five-set thriller over Saint Mary's (Calif.) on Sept. 14, the team set a new program record for blocks in a match with 22.5 total team blocks. Also a new school record was the 41 assisted blocks the Flyers' tallied in the 3-2 win over the Gaels. Sophomore
Angel Agu recorded a career-high 10 blocks in the contest while senior
Megan Campbell added nine. Sophomore
Jenna Jendryk narrowly missed the elusive triple-double with her career-high 48 assists, 12 digs and nine blocks as well.
