Round One Results
HEBRON, Ky. - The University of Dayton men's golf team opened play at the 2013 Cincinnati Bearcat Invitational Monday at a rain-soaked Traditions Golf Club Monday, standing in 16th place after the first round of action. Play was delayed until 11:30 a.m. and, after finishing the first 18 late, competition was suspended due to darkness. The second round will resume Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. Freshman
Caleb Wolters posted the team's low-round score (75) and is in a tie for 38th place after 18 holes.
Senior
Andrew Steffensmeier carded a 76 on his first 18 holes played, for a tie for 48th place. Freshman
Nick Paxson fired an 80 for the first round and is currently tied for 67th. Junior
George Rohde, III, posted an even-par 36 on the front nine but faltered on the back, turning in an 81 for round one and is tied for 71st place. Freshman
Kevin Wargo rounds out the scoring for the Flyers with an 85 (t-79).
Play will resume Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Round three will be played after the completition of second-round play.
