Andrea Hoover was named to the 2013-14 Naismith Trophy early-season, 50-player watch list for women's basketball.Hoover is the only representative from the Atlantic 10 to be named to early-season watch list.
- Dayton went unbeaten at home last season, and improved its home court winning streak to 14 with its win over Akron Nov. 15. Their streak is currently the seventh-best in the nation.
- Dayton women's basketball is receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches' Poll. Last year Dayton was ranked as high as No. 11 in both the AP and USA Today Coaches' Polls. UD has been receiving votes in at least one of the polls for 22 consecutive weeks.Â
SERIES INFO / LAST TIME VS. CENTRAL MICHIGAN
- The University of Dayton women's basketball team defeated Central Michigan 78–76 on Nov. 29, 2008 at the Buckeye Classic in Columbus, Ohio. The Flyers have played Central Michigan on six other occasions, including their first meeting in the NIT in 1969.Â
- Central Michigan leads the all-time series 4-3, but the Flyers have won the last three meetings.
UD'S LAST TIME OUT
- The Flyers traveled to Nashville, Tennessee and were defeated by the Vanderbilt Commodores 82-52 on Nov. 24. Dayton was led in scoring by
Cassie Sant with 20 points and
Andrea Hoover with 11 points.Â
- The Flyers forced the Commodores to commit 26 turnovers, but Vanderbilt rallied to shoot 73% from the three point line and 57% from the field.
- It was the first time this season that Dayton did not have four or more players reach double figures. As a team, the Flyers shot season lows in field goal percentage (33%) and three point field goal percentage (19%).
SCOUTING CENTRAL MICHIGAN
The Central Michigan Chippewas return 10 letter winners from last year's 21-12 squad that reached the NCAA Tournament. The Chippewas are led in scoring by Crystal Bradford and Niki DiGuilio with 16.8 and 15.2 points per game respectively. Jas'Mine Bracey contributes on both ends of the court, averaging 9.0 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game. Central Michigan is 2-4 on the season, with two of their losses coming to teams currently ranked in the Associated Press Top 5 (Duke and Kentucky). The Chippewas began the year by defeating Atlantic 10 opponent Massachusetts 105-62. They recently finished play at the Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands, winning their final game against Xavier 88-62.Â

UD's next game is Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. vs. Washington State at UD Arena. It will be the Flyers' alumnae game with a pre-game reception and halftime reception of former UD women's basketball players.
