SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. - The University of Dayton men's golf team is currently in 12th place overall after the first two rounds of the Louisville Intercollegiate after firing rounds of 294 and 306 (+24). Freshman Caleb Wolters currently sits in a tie for fifth place after turning in a two-under 69-73=142 in his first collegiate outing. The Flyers will wrap up the Louisville Intercollegiate Tuesday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

Junior George Rohde, III carded the second-best score for UD with rounds of 78 and 73 (151, +7) for a tie for 39th place. Freshman Kevin Wargo shot rounds of 75 and 78 and is at nine-over and is tied for 51st.

Senior Andrew Steffensmeier fired an even-par 72 in today's first round but turned in a 10-over-par 82 on the second 18 for a two-round total of 154 (+10, t-56). Freshman Nick Paxson rounded out the scoring for the Flyers with a 81-84=165 (+21) and is in 83rd place.
