DAYTON, Ohio - The

Two Flyers scored in double-figures as Jordan Sibert led the team with 15 points on 4-of-7 shooting from the three and Dyshawn Pierre added 13 points and five rebounds. Dwayne Evans scored a game-high 22 points on 9-of-11 shooting and hauled in nine rebounds for the Billikens.
Saint Louis entered the game as the top defense in the Atlantic 10 as they hold opponents to just 57.6 points per game and a field goal percentage of 39.2%. The Billikens held the Flyers to 59 points, and UD connected on a season-low 30.6% (19-of-62) of their field goals attempts.

However, Dayton went on a field goal drought over the next eight minutes and 32 seconds as that 14-11 lead turned into a 27-19 deficit. Saint Louis pushed their first half lead to 32-19 after a three by Austin McBroom with 2:17 remaining until halftime. The Flyers converted a jump shot by Pierre and a lay-up by Jalen Robinson to cut the halftime deficit to 34-25.
Dayton remained in striking distance but did not come within six points until there was only 41 seconds left in the game. McBroom nailed all six of his free throw attempts in the final minute to secure the win for Saint Louis.
UD is back in action on Wednesday as they travel to the Bronx to take on the Fordham Rams. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET. The game will be televised nationally on SNY and can be viewed in the Dayton market on WHIO-TV.
