Live ScoringBOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The University of Dayton men's golf team finished two rounds of play at the Western Kentucky Kenny Perry Invitational Monday amid high winds and the threat of severe weather. Senior
George Rohde, III, posted the squad's best 36-hole total with rounds of 74 and 72 to sit at two-over-over par 146 in a tie for 11th place. The two-day event is being held at The Club at Old Stone and the course is being played at par 72 and 7,100 yards.
As a team, the Flyers are in 10th place with rounds of 314 and 302 (616, +40). Lipscomb leads the field at eight over with rounds of 293 and 291 (584) and the Bisons' Dawson Armstrong is in first place overall at seven-under-par 137 (68-69).
Junior
Thomas Goss carded rounds of 78 and 74 for an eight-over-par total of 152 and is tied for 34th place while sophomore
Kevin Wargo is in a tie for 53rd place overall after rounds of 79 and 80 (159, +15).
Freshman
Brendan Keating fired rounds of 84 and 76 to sit in a tie for 56th place at 16 over par. Freshman
Phillip Johnson turned in rounds of 83 and 82 in his first collegiate outing and is in 66th place with a two-round total of 165 (+21).
