Box Score University of Dayton senior running back Connor Kacsor has been named Pioneer Football League Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Dayton's 41-7 win over Morehead State at Welcome Stadium on Saturday.  It is the third time this season Kacsor has been honored by the PFL.

Kacsor carried the ball just 10 times, gaining 232 yards and scoring four touchdowns.  The 2011 Leo (Ind.) grad went 52 yards the first time he touched the ball to give Dayton the lead for good.  He added an 11-yard run and a 63-yard run in the second quarter to give him three touchdowns and 167 yards at halftime. 

Two plays into the third quarter, Kacsor had 232 yards, four touchdown and a seat on the bench as his day was over.

For the season, Kacsor has 958 yards and 11 touchdowns.  He leads the PFL and is second in FCS football in yards per game (159.7).  He is the only player in FCS football to have three of the top 12 single-game rushing performances this year – 301 vs. Georgetown, 213 at Davidson and 232 against Morehead State.  The 301 is the best in FCS football this year.

A true senior, Kacsor has 11 games of 100+ yard in 24 career games, and eight in his last 13.  Four of those 13 are of 200 yards or more.  He also now has four of the eight Flyer single-game rushing performances of 200 yards or more. (Gary Kosins has two, Dave Jones has one and Jermaine Bailey has one).

Kacsor was also named CollegeSportsMadness.com's PFL Offensive Player of the Week.

Dayton returns to the road for the third time in four games next week, traveling to San Diego to play the USD Toreros Saturday, Oct. 25 at 9 p.m. ET.  The Flyers are back home on Nov. 1 against Valparaiso.
