Alaina Turner's match-high-tying 19 kills and 16 digs.

Jane Emmenecker set 49 assists and passed 12 digs to go with two kills while junior
Jill Loiars tallied 13 kills and five assisted blocks for the Flyers. Junior
Janna Krafka passed 16 digs and freshman
Amber Erhahon chipped in nine kills, five blocks and three service aces.
The Flyers out-hit the Billikens, .318 to .226, and UD recorded 10 team blocks to SLU's seven.
Dayton (21-5, 8-1 A-10) and Saint Louis (17-7, 6-3 A-10) played the first set closely early on with five early ties. The Flyers were able to go ahead by two, 8-6, but the set was tied again at eight points apiece. A 3-0 spurt from UD put the team up, 13-9, and the Flyers led by five, 15-10. The Billikens rallied to once again even the set at 21-21 and the two squads traded points. A kill from Danielle Rygelski gave SLU set point at 25-24, forcing UD to signal for timeout. Out of the break, Dayton scored three straight points to win the set, 27-25.
Despite falling behind, 4-2, to Saint Louis, Dayton was able to tie the frame at 5-5 with a kill from Loiars. Erhahon served up two aces to cap a 4-0 run to put the Flyers up 10-6 and a kill from junior
Jenna Jendryk set the score at 17-11 in favor of UD, kick-starting a 4-0 run to put the set out of reach. The Flyers took a 2-0 match lead with the 25-14 win in set two.
Saint Louis jumped out to a 5-2 lead in the third set but Dayton was able to pull even at nine-all. The Billikens scored five straight to pull ahead, 16-11, and never relinquished the lead. Within three points would be as close as UD would get down the stretch and SLU picked up the third-set win with a 25-19 advantage.
There were eight ties early on in the fourth set but the Billikens were able to take a four-point lead at 12-8. The Flyers tied the set again at 15-all and the teams were tied again three more times before a 4-0 Dayton run put the Flyers up, 22-18. UD reached match point at 24-22 with a kill from senior
Isolde Hannan and the game was won with a kill from Jendryk.
The Billikens were led by Danielle Rygelski with 19 kills and Anna Church with 24 digs. Meredith Boe set 53 assists and passed 15 digs while Nenye Okoro recorded 17 kills and 12 digs for SLU's double-doubles.
The Flyers return to action Friday, October 31 with a trip to Richmond, Virginia, for a 7 p.m. tilt against VCU.
