Day One ResultsHEBRON, Ky. - After a three-hour rain delay, the University of Dayton men's golf team finished up the first round of play at the Cincinnati Bearcat Invitational Monday afternoon at Traditions Country Club. Second-round action started before play for the day was called due to weather. There will be an attempt made tomorrow to complete all scheduled 54 holes of the tournament. The Flyers are in a three-way tie for seventh place with a team score of 303.
The host Bearcats lead the pack with a one-over-par 289.
Senior
George Rohde, III, currently leads the Flyers with his one-over-par 73, which has him tied for eight place overall. Sophomore
Nick Paxson is tied for 17th place after the first round with a 75 (+3) while junior
Thomas Goss is tied for 41st place with his round of 77.
Freshman
Erron Vandemore fired a round of 78 to sit tied for 50th place and senior
Will Chambers rounds out the team's scoring with a 79 (+7, t-59th).
Second round action will resume tomorrow morning with tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m.
