Live Stats/Video LinksDAYTON, Ohio - For the second time this season, University of Dayton volleyball will be squaring off against Saint Louis on Saturday. The match will be played in SLU's Chaifetz Arena instead of the Billikens' volleyball home of Chaifetz Pavilion with first serve set for 2 p.m. ET. The Flyers hold sole possession of first place in Atlantic 10 standings while the Billikens are in fourth.
Scouting Saint LouisSaint Louis (18-8, 7-4 A-10) has lost two of its last three matches, including a 3-1 loss to Dayton at Frericks Center on Oct. 25. Prior to their loss to the Flyers, the Billikens were enjoying a five-match winning streak and also posted an eight-match winning streak earlier in the year. SLU is led by Danielle Rygelski with 3.63 kills/set (5th A-10) and the team's primary setter is Meredith Boe with 11.05 assists/set (2nd A-10). As a team, Saint Louis ranks second in the league with 13.69 kills/set.
Series Stuff• Dayton and Saint Louis have squared off 41 times in a series that dates back to three matches played in 1978. The Flyers hold a 25-16 advantage in the series and UD won the last meeting between the two, 3-1, just three matches ago on Oct. 25. Dayton has won 10 of the last 11 meetings between the two programs.

Tim Horsmon is in his sixth season overall, but first since 2007, as head coach of the Flyers in 2014. His record at Dayton is 151-48 and his overall win-loss mark sits at 327-212 in 16 seasons as a head coach.
• The Flyers have won 16 of their last 17 contests, 11 of which were in three straight sets. UD is currently enjoying a seven-match win streak, the team's second-longest of the season.

Alaina Turner leads the team and the Atlantic 10 while ranking fourth nationally with 0.58 service aces/set. She also leads the league and ranks 19th nationally with 5.01 points/set. Additionally, Turner ranks in the top 25 nationally in five other categories, including fourth in service aces (58) and ninth in total attacks (1,183).

Amber Erhahon ranks second in the conference and 25th nationally with a .392 hitting percentage. Freshman
Jane Emmenecker ranks first in the A-10 and 30th nationally with 11.06 assists/set while junior
Janna Krafka is second in the A-10 and 55th nationally with 436 digs this season.
• With 165 team service aces, Dayton ranks seventh nationally out of 150 teams ranked by the NCAA. The team also ranks 11th with 1.65 aces/set, 12th with 259 total blocks and 17th with 1,278 team assists.
• Dayton has won the Atlantic 10 Regular Season title 10 times (2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2001, 1998). The Flyers have won the A-10 Championship title eight times (2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005, 2004, 2003) and have made nine NCAA appearances in program history.
• Over the last six seasons (2009-2014), the Flyers have recorded a 75-9 mark in Atlantic 10 Conference play, including a perfect 14-0 mark in 2012 and a 15-0 record in 2010. UD suffered only one conference loss in 2011 and 2009, posting a 14-1 record both years. So far in 2014, the Flyers are 10-1 in league action.
RPI RankingsDayton heads into this week's matches holding a RPI (Rating Percentage Index) ranking of 106 according to ncaa.com. Saint Louis is behind UD, coming in at 137.
13th to 1,000With two wins at the season-opening Bowling Green Hampton Inn Invitational, Dayton has surpassed the 1,000-win mark as a program and is just the 13th NCAA DI team to attain that level of success. The Flyers currently rank 13th all-time in the Division I record book with an overall program tally of 1,021-556 (.647) over 44 seasons (1970).

Janna Krafka has also passed 1,000 ... career digs. With her 33 digs at the BGSU Hampton Inn Invitational, she reached the 1,000-dig mark for her career. With 1,403 career digs, Krafka now ranks fifth all-time in the UD career record book. She is only 26 digs behind Cathy Wojciechowski (1990-93) who ranks fourth with 1,429 career digs.
Emmenecker Setting Her Way into the UD Record BookFreshman setter
Jane Emmenecker passed the 1,000-assist mark during the Flyers' match against Saint Louis on Oct. 25. She averages 11.06 assists/set (1st A-10) and has a total of 1,106 assists so far this season. With 1,461 assists in 2006, former Flyer All-American Erin Schroeder holds the fifth-most single-season assists total - Emmenecker needs 355 more assists to break into the UD record book.

Amber Erhahon are two tough blockers to get past. Hannan is averaging 1.17 blocks/set and Erhahon averages 1.12 blocks/set which ranks fifth and six, respectively, in Atlantic 10 individual standings.

Isolde Hannan is moving up the Dayton career assisted blocks list as the top blocker for the Flyers this season. Hannan has rocketed up the UD record book this season and currently ranks third all-time with 444 block assists. So far this season, she has recorded a team-best 100 BAs and is averaging 1.17 total blocks/set (11 solo blocks). Hannan has now recorded at least 100 assisted blocks in all four seasons she has been a Flyer.
Turn Down for WhatAs the team's kills leader, junior
Alaina Turner consistently produces offensively for the Flyers. She ranks second in the Atlantic 10 and 44th nationally with 4.07 kills/set. Turner also pops up in several other categories in the NCAA National Ranking Summary: fourth in service aces (58) and aces/set (0.58), ninth in total attacked (1,183), 19th in both points/set (5.01) and attacks/set (11.83) and 21st in total kills (407).
Consistently AccurateThe team's hitting percentage has improved considerably since the beginning of the season and the Flyers currently rank second in the Atlantic 10, hitting at a .245 clip. In other league rankings,, Dayton is first in opponent hitting percentage (.161) and digs/set (15.78), second in assists/set (12.78), blocks/set (2.59), service aces/set (1.65) and third in kills/set (13.65).
Hannan Rewarded as A-10 Defensive Player of the WeekFor the first time this season and the fifth time in her career, senior
Isolde Hannan was recognized by the Atlantic 10 with a weekly award. Hannan was named A-10 Defensive Player of the year on Nov. 3 for her play over two wins at VCU and at Davidson. She averaged 1.71 blocks per set and 2.29 kills per set for the weekend including recording 10 blocks in a 3-1 battle at VCU on Oct. 31. In the 3-0 win at Davidson on Nov. 2, Hannan chipped in eight kills to go with two blocks. A middle blocker from Dublin, Ohio, Hannan also contributed 2.29 kills per set, 3.14 points per set and she hit at .448 for the weekend.

UD Picked Third in A-10 Preseason PollDayton has been chosen to finish in third place in the Atlantic 10 for 2014. The Flyers, winners of four of the last five A-10 titles, tallied 78 points in voting among the league's head coaches as announced by the conference office Aug. 20. Defending champion Duquesne was selected to win the title, receiving eight first-place votes.
Up NextDayton will close out its 2014 regular season slate at home Nov. 14 and 16 with matches against La Salle and Duquesne. The Flyers will celebrate two senior team members before the match against the Dukes on Sunday during Senior Day recognition. Following the final weekend of regular season play, Dayton will host the 2014 Atlantic 10 Volleyball Championship Nov. 21-23.
