DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton softball team has postponed Wednesday's home opener against Morehead State. The doubleheader originally for 2 p.m. Wednesday at UD Softball Stadium will be rescheduled for a date to be announced. Field conditions and forecasted weather are to blame for the schedule change.

The Flyers spent the weekend in Fort Collins, Colo., at the Colorado State Classic. Dayton went 2-2 over its four games played.

UD will host the Dayton Flyers Spring Classic this coming weekend, March 14-16. Dayton will play host to Eastern Michigan, Oakland and IUPUI. The Flyers will square off against the Eagles of Eastern Michigan Friday at noon. All games will be held at UD Softball Stadium and admission is free.
