Dayton struck first in the second game when Ricks doubled in senior
Rachel Archer to take the 1-0 lead in the first inning. IUPUI answered in the top of the second to even the score on a Flyer error that scored a runner from third.

Natalie Mariano to put UD up, 4-1.
The Jaguars scored single runs in the third, fourth and sixth innings to pull even with the Flyers, 4-4. A three-spot in the top of the seventh for IUPUI put the Jaguars in the lead for good as the Flyers were not able to muster any more offense. IUPUI picked up the 7-4 win in the nightcap.
