FIRST TWO ROUNDS COMPLETE AT MEMPHIS INTERCOLLEGIATE FOR #UDMG

Rohde, III Leads Flyers with Rounds of 77 and 74

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Dayton men's golf team completed its first two rounds of competition Monday at the Memphis Intercollegiate Golf Classic. The 54-hole tournament is being played on Colonial Country Club's South Course, a par-72, 6,900-yard course. Junior George Rohde, III currently leads the Flyers with his two-round total of 77-74=151 (+7) and is in a tie for 29th place overall.

Senior Andrew Steffensmeier carded a 84-73=157 (+13) and is tied for 61st place while freshman Nick Paxson turned in rounds of 82 and 76 for a two-round total of 158 (+14) and is sitting in a tie for 64th place.

Freshman Kevin Wargo's 82-85=167 (+23) has him in a tie for 77th place while sophomore Matt Fazio rounds out the team scoring for UD with his 85-87=172 (+28, 83rd).

Sophomore Thomas Goss is playing as an individual for the Flyers and carded rounds of 77 and 79 for a 36-hole total of 12-over-par 156 for a tie for 50th place.

The Flyers will be back in action Tuesday morning, teeing off from the 10th tee beginning at 8:45 a.m.
