Day One Tee TimesDAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's golf team is heading south to Lexington, Ky., to participate in the 2014 Kentucky Bluegrass Invitational April 12-13, the team's last outing before the upcoming 2014 Atlantic 10 Championship. The tournament will consist of 54 holes - 36 to be player Saturday and 18 on Sunday - at the University Club of Kentucky. Teams will be competing on the Big Blue Course, which will be played at par 72 and 6.992 yards.
The Flyers will be squaring off against 12 other teams: Auburn, Bradley, Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Lipscomb, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky, SIU-Edwardsville, Tennessee Tech, Valparaiso, Wright State and the host Wildcats.
UD's five-man squad will consist of senior
Andrew Steffensmeier, junior
George Rohde, III, sophomore
Thomas Goss and freshmen
Nick Paxson and
Caleb Wolters. All five will tee off from hole four beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
