UD and GMU will square off in a single game both Friday and Saturday while Dayton will take on George Washington in a doubleheader on Sunday.

SCOUTING GEORGE MASONGeorge Mason (21-16, 5-5 A-10) picked up back-to-back shutouts over Maryland Eastern Shore on Wednesday in non-conference action at home. The Patriots are riding a six-game winning streak and have won nine of their last 12 games, including taking two from Atlantic 10 foes Rhode Island (Apr. 18) and George Washington (Apr. 9). GMU's Tiffany Webb leads the team offensively with a .416 average to go with 47 hits. Anna Blessing is the team's ace in the circle with a team-low 2.13 ERA and an 8-5 win-loss record.
SCOUTING GEORGE WASHINGTONGeorge Washington (16-27-1, 2-8 A-10) is currently suffering a four-game losing streak and has lost eight of its last 10 games. The Colonials last took the field on April 22 against cross-town foe Georgetown, falling 5-4 in a close one against the Hoyas. GWU will square off against Saint Louis April 24-25 before hosting the Flyers for Senior Day on April 26. The Colonials are led by Megan Linn offensively with a .357 average to go with a team-best 51 hits and 35 runs. Meghan Rico is the squad's top hurler with a team-low ERA of 4.09 to go with 143 strikeouts.
SERIES STUFFDayton and George Mason have only played one game against each other heading into Friday. The only time the two teams met was in 1992 when the Flyers bested the Patriots.
UD holds the slight edge over George Washington all-time with an overall record of 11-10. In their series last year, GW swept UD with 4-0 and 6-0 victories. They met again in the Atlantic 10 Tournament where Dayton was defeated, 2-1.

Over the last 14 contests, Isaacson has gone 20-for-44 (.455) at the plate with seven doubles and two home runs while batting in 14 runs and scoring eight runs herself. During this stretch, she has posted a .520 on-base percentage and a .750 slugging percentage. Additionally, Isaacson has twice been named the Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week this season.

Kayla English recorded her first career no-hitter on March 27 in a 9-0 win at Wright State. She allowed only one base-runner, a walk late in the game, as she faced only 19 batters over sixth innings pitched and recorded five strikeouts on the night.
UD PICKED TO FINISH SIXTH IN A-10Dayton softball has been chosen to finish sixth in Atlantic 10 play this season, according to the preseason poll conducted by the league's 10 head coaches. Dayton tallied a school-record 12 wins in league action in 2013 and made the program's fifth appearance in the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship - coach LaPlaca's second appearance in the post-season tournament in the last three seasons. She guided her team to a 22-24 overall record - the program's best winning percentage (.478) since 2005 - and a 12-9 mark in league action. The Flyers finished the 2013 regular season in sixth place in conference standings.
